An extra on soap opera Neighbours slashed her wrist in front of horrified cast members.
The troubled woman cut herself with a glass from fictional hangout Charlie's Bar.
She smashed several props, causing filming to be cancelled and the astonished cast and crew to be rushed off set late yesterday.
Police were called and the unnamed actress, a regular extra on the show for the past 12 years, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Executive producer Susan Bower said crew noticed the woman starting to behave strangely on the Ramsay Street set in Melbourne.
I can understand. 12 years of working on the show? Shit, it takes just one viewing of this shit show before I start wanting to kill myself too.

Australian Doctor Who fans will be able to legally watch new episodes of the sci-fi series online before they air on television. iView - the ABC's internet broadcasting service - will launch the first episode of the series from midnight on Friday April 16. The episode will be shown two days later on ABC1.
The new series stars Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor and Karen Gillian as his companion Amy Pond. BAFTA-winning writer Steven Moffat has replaced Russell T Davies as the series' lead writer and executive producer.

The team behind Sunday’s Oscar-winning documentary film “The Cove” orchestrated a Hollywood-meets-Greenpeace-style covert operation to ferret out what the authorities say is illegal whale meat at one of this town’s most highly regarded sushi destinations.
Their work, undertaken in large part here last week as the filmmakers gathered for the Academy Awards ceremony, was coordinated with law enforcement officials, who said Monday that they were likely to bring charges against the restaurant, the Hump, for violating federal laws against selling marine mammals.
Nice work! I love it when a plan comes together.

It's official: HBO has given a green light to a 10-episode series based on George R.R. Martin's fantasy series Game of Thrones and released the first image from the show, which you can view below. Production begins in June; no premiere date was announced.
Cast members include Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, a woman of royal blood, Peter Dinklage as Cersei's brother Tyrion, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Cersei's twin, Jaime, Sean Bean as aristocrat Ned Stark, Jennifer Ehle as his wife, Catelyn Stark, and Mark Addy as King Robert.
