Melbourne airport, now offering courtesy kangaroos for tourists
A JET-setting kangaroo was stopped in its tracks at Melbourne Airport this morning.
The confused kangaroo managed to reach level five of the airport’s multi-storey carpark before it was sedated.
Melbourne Airport spokeswoman Anna Gillett said an early morning tweet from a passenger alerted staff to the bouncing visitor.
She said airport staff cordoned off a small section of the level five carpark before calling Wildlife Victoria.
After stalking the animal for several minutes, the female volunteer successfully shot the kangaroo with a tranquiliser dart.
