The whole "Which gender is smarter?" argument was best summed up by a couple of jokes I saw back in highschool.

How many North Sydney Girls students does it take to change a lightbulb?

One, and she’ll do it faster and better than any boy could do it.

None. North Sydney Girls already changed them all.

I would love to know why the myth that "only women can multitask" is still around.
Billions of men women and children of all colour and creed multitask everyday with their time at work/school/hobbies etc

Who keeps perpetuating the bullshit that only women can perform more than one operation at a time?

So do I. Very few people can actually multitask, male or female. Those who think they can aren’t actually multitasking, they’re just bouncing from one task to the other, with the inherent inefficiency that comes from changing your train of thought every three and a half seconds.

It’s just be a result of education levels and what the IQ test measures. Long gone is the notion that it’s some absolute base level of measuring intelligent.

It’s well established the links to education and the way people are brought up with IQ results. It’s why ethnic groups on average get different results dependent on where they grew up. It’s what you’re exposed to.

So this would just be another variation on that. It just means females are getting better at doing IQ tests. Or men are getting worse.

Modernity and adaption to the modern world, I believe is one of the things the IQ tests are meant to actually test. You have to make that distinction as opposed to be actually getting more intelligent.

So yeah this doesn’t prove men are dumber or smarter. The same way an IQ test doesn’t prove non white or asian ethnic groups are less intelligent.
