New Thread: My Hackintosh Build Journal
This week I’ve kept myself busy figuring out how to build a Hackintosh, and I thought I’d do a write-up on my experience with the whole thing so far.
Let’s get down to it, Windows is fucking awesome and is the OS of beer chugging men with more masculinity than they know what to do with, so they stick to doing manly things like watching copious amounts of illegally downloaded porn while doing push-ups, why in the fuck would any normal person dick around with a goddamned Apple product?
Why? Because fuck Apple, that’s why. I’ve always had it in my head to build a Hackintosh ever since Psystar got shut down for selling Mac clones. I’ve always thought it was a dick move, and the biggest obstacle for having a bigger market share for such a highly regarded OS was a lack of choice in the hardware market. Given that lack of choice is one of the greatest strengths towards the reliability of OS X, but that’s not an argument I’m interested in paying any attention.
