    My Cooper S is a mark 1

    but the engine is a british mini metro engine, 1310cc, extractors, high lift cams, double valve springs etc. about 92 HP.

    New minis are kinda tacky, they don't have the charm of the Original, not as bad as the new beetles though.

    I thought they looked disgusting, but after reading glowing magazine reviews about them (and being refused insurance on an Audi S3) I went to the MINI garage to see what I was "missing out on"

    It only took five minutes behind the wheel to find out
