Telstra launch Spotify competitor

Musicians have welcomed the latest music streaming service as a way of easing the impact of illegal downloading.

Telstra launched its MOG subscription platform on Thursday, just weeks after Spotify officially landed in Australia.

The Telstra service offers access to 16 million songs for a monthly fee of between $6.99 and $11.99 with no advertisements built into the streams.

I fucking hate Spotify. It’s a great service. But I didn’t know the fucking thing would post every song I listen to on Facebook. Now everyone knows how much I love The Wiggles.
