when i was watching the intro for the first time, the bit about humans being nothing but "data clusters" instantly reminded me of the whole google/facebook thing..
apart from the CtOS (central operating system) i thought that whole video could be real up until the point where the gameplay comes in

wow thats awesome, had no idea that was possible.
that definitely puts this in-game hacking mechanic in our realm of possibilities.
otherwise i would have guessed some kind of cybernetic implant’s for the main character
