Win an Olympic Gold – a licence to start preaching
British cycling hero Bradley Wiggins has called for a law forcing cyclists to wear helmets.
Bradley Wiggins provoked a fierce debate on cycle safety within hours of winning the Olympic time trial by suggesting that laws should be changed to encourage cyclists to wear helmets and stop using mobile phones or iPods.
His comments followed the death of a 28-year-old man who was killed by an official shuttle bus as he cycled home past the Olympic Park in Stratford.
Take your medal and shut up.
